Why We Love Small Business Saturday

You know those areas with those cute quirky stores, sometimes a little off the beaten track?  Do you have a favourite one that you couldn't do without?  We know that for our fans the Lowie shop in Herne Hill is one of those fabulous independent shops with all sorts of interesting things to buy for oneself and for gifts.  With locally designed, limited edition quality clothing and a selection of other independent brands with an ethical twist, it's just one of the reasons to visit Herne Hill.

This Saturday is Small Business Saturday where we are all encouraged to shop local and help to keep the little people alive and our local area a bit special.  Whilst you're in Herne Hill how about a spot of Christmas shopping at the Christmas market.  I'll be popping my head into Dugard and Daughters to stock up on festive treats, buying my Christmas tree from Elaine The Flower Lady and starting the evening early at the Lido café with a prosecco afternoon tea.
