At the heart of the evening will be music from Cyndi Handson, a South London DJ and promoter, part of Handson Family. Active for over 20 years, she’s known for eclectic sets spanning soul, house, funk, and jazz. She’s respected in grassroots music scenes and helps build community-focused events, especially around Brixton and Peckham.
The Craft Behind the Collection: Appliqué
Appliqué is a textile technique where pieces of fabric are carefully cut and stitched onto a larger base fabric to create layered and often pictorial designs. In our case fabrics are layered over the base and the design stitched over the top to hold down the fabric, then the excess is cut away leaving just the designed shape.
About the Event
This event is an open invitation to both our community and new faces to come together, explore the collection, and experience the story behind it. On the night:

- Guests can watch a short film showcasing the production process behind the pieces
- Enjoy a live DJ set from Cyndi Handson
