There are few things we love more than community spirit, Brockwell Park in the sunshine, and dogs dressed as tiny celebrities. So naturally, Brockwell Bark has gone straight to the top of our spring calendar.
Returning to Brockwell Park after a long break, Brockwell Bark is a joyful community dog show taking place on the lawn of Brockwell Hall, bringing together local pups, proud humans and plenty of wagging tails. The event is free to attend, with dog entries and donations raising money for the animal welfare charity, Blue Cross Victoria.

Expect all the classic dog show chaos, but with a distinctly South London twist. Categories include Happiest Tail, Pup Star, Village Veterans and Twinning & Winning (for dogs who suspiciously resemble their owners — our personal favourite). There’s also fancy dress, performance rounds and the grand finale: Best in Show-Biz. Yes please.
What we love most is that Brockwell Bark feels like everything a local event should be: creative, funny, welcoming and a little bit unhinged in the best possible way. It celebrates neighbours meeting neighbours, dogs making friends, and everyone spending a few hours outside laughing together.
And of course, being a headline sponsor, we will be there too. Come and visit the Lowie stand where we will sell some Lowie and Miss PomPom goods including the new cocktail dog t-shirt and the cap doggie t-shirt. We'd love to say hi! This, alongside all the other fun, food, drinks and puppy madness, its guaranteed to be the perfect bank holiday Monday. There will also be a screening in the evening so save the date!

So whether you’re entering your pup, cheering from the sidelines or simply hoping to spot a spaniel dressed as David Bowie, come along for some fun and support the Blue Cross charity.
See you on the grass. We’ll be the ones judging Best Dressed Human.
